The abandonment of beloved pets is causing a huge issue to rescuers like me who save them from being euthanised by irresponsible “owners”, love them better, form a deep bond, only to have to re-home them, it’s not right.

A MESSAGE FROM MY HEART TO YOURS

There comes a moment in life when you realise that every lesson you've learned, every challenge you've faced, and every opportunity you've embraced has been preparing you for something greater.

For me, that moment became Hope 2 Rescue.

Over the years, I have been involved in various businesses, digital and social media marketing, hosting events and building communities. Looking back, I now realise those experiences weren't just about business, they were preparing me to create something with real purpose.

While watching and being involved with Animal Rescue Organisations across South Africa, one thing became impossible to ignore. The people who dedicate their lives to rescuing abused, neglected, and abandoned animals are often the ones carrying the greatest burden. Every day they fight to save lives while facing overwhelming veterinary bills, rising costs, and the constant struggle to secure enough support to continue their work.

I knew I couldn't rescue every animal myself, but I knew I could use my knowledge and experience to build a platform that supports the people who do.

That's why Hope 2 Rescue was created. A For Profit Business (Not a NPO) that commits to taking a portion of the business Profits from Sales, Memberships and Subscriptions and Events and giving to Animal Rescue Organisations / Sanctuaries.
More than an online directory, Hope 2 Rescue is a community-driven ecosystem designed to help Rescue Organisations become more visible, connect them with supporters and businesses, and create sustainable opportunities for funding and long, term growth.

My prayer is that no Rescue Organisation ever feels they have to fight alone.
Together, we can build a community where compassion leads to action, businesses grow with purpose, and more animals receive the second chance they deserve.
I truly believe this is where the Lord has called me to serve, and I invite you to become part of this journey.

Join these organisations in making a real difference this National Feral Cat Day by supporting feral cats across Limpopo Province.

Every year, thousands of feral cats face hunger, illness, injury, and uncertainty. Through this campaign, we aim to raise awareness and funds to support vital TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) sterilisation projects, feeding programmes, veterinary care, fostering, re-homing initiatives, and safe shelter solutions for feral cats. Your support also helps educate communities and improve the quality of life of feral cats while contributing to natural pest control in our communities.
