Skills are not enough.

A person can be skilled and still be dishonest. A person can be qualified and still abuse access. A person can be employed and still harm the people they are meant to serve.

That is why work readiness must include character. Young people need more than technical ability. They need honesty, responsibility, courage and respect for what has been entrusted to them.

South Africa does not only need more people in jobs. It needs people who can be trusted with jobs.
