Last week, we hosted our first organised labour financial education workshop of the year in Klerksdorp - continuing our commitment to strengthening trustee knowledge and financial confidence.

The session covered two highly relevant topics:
🔐 Cybersecurity - protecting funds and personal information in an increasingly digital world
💰 Managing Personal Finances - building practical skills for everyday financial resilience

The workshop was facilitated by Tony Remas and Daphney Motshwane, who guided participants through practical discussions and real-world examples.

On 20 January 2026, we kicked off our first financial education workshop of the year with the youth of Ivory Park, hosted at Ivory Park Hall. The session focused on Managing Personal Finances, equipping young people with practical knowledge to make confident money decisions.

Nearly 180 young people attended this first Alexforbes funded Consumer Financial Education workshop for 2026, setting the tone for a year of meaningful engagement and empowerment.

Our team showed up ready to serve, support, and make a difference - and this is only the beginning. Together, we’re building financial confidence and resilience, one community at a time.

Yesterday, Atleha-Edu NPC hosted a financial literacy workshop in Johannesburg, continuing our commitment to make retirement fund education accessible and relevant.

The session was presented by Advocate Makhubalo Ndaba, who guided participants through two key topics:

✅ Section 37C Death Benefits

On 23–24 October 2025, Atleha-Edu hosted a workshop in partnership with CEPPWAWU, focusing on key trustee topics:

✅ The Two-Pot Retirement Reform
✅ Section 37C Death Benefits
✅ Cybersecurity in Retirement Funds

On Monday, 13 October, we facilitated a blended financial education workshop in partnership with gold Youth Development Agency and proudly funded by Alexforbes.

Over 360 youth beneficiaries from the National Youth Service (NYS) Programme and gold-Grads joined virtually from multiple sites across South Africa — engaging in conversations that build financial confidence and long-term resilience.

Together, we’re empowering young South Africans to make informed financial decisions for a more sustainable future. 🌍
