Today, Project Golden Ribbon would like to share the story of a very special little girl, Lynni, whose journey has been incredibly difficult from the very beginning.

Lynni began experiencing seizures at just 6 weeks old and has faced numerous hospitalisations and major medical challenges throughout her life.

She lives with severe spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy and severe reflux, and requires ongoing specialised care, food, medication and stimulation therapy.

Her medical and nutritional needs also place a huge financial burden on her family, with some of her prescribed medication costing over R9,000 per month.

Despite everything she has faced, Lynni continues to fight and inspire those around her. ❤️

🙏 We are asking our Project Golden Ribbon family to please stand together for Lynni.

Project Golden Ribbon would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful supporters who continue to stand behind us and support our mission to help children and families affected by cancer. Your kindness, love and encouragement mean more than you know. 💛🎗️

Today, we would also like to give a very special thank you to Mrs Nquma and her two beautiful granddaughters, Linozuko Angelique and Sisipho, for reaching out to Project Golden Ribbon and showing their love and support for children battling cancer. 🌻

We are incredibly proud of Linozuko Angelique, who was a contestant in the Little Miss Face of the Bay, held at Baywest on Sunday, 9 August. 👑✨

What a wonderful achievement — Linozuko won the beautiful title of Miss Confidence! 👑🏆💕

But what makes us even prouder is the beautiful heart behind this young lady. Linozuko wants to support children who are battling cancer and is eager to learn more about cancer and how she can make a difference. 🎗️💛

It is truly inspiring to see such a young lady showing compassion, courage and a desire to help others.

Mrs Nquma and her beautiful family also have a personal history with cancer, having had family members who bravely battled cancer and sadly passed away.

Their decision to reach out to Project Golden Ribbon makes their support even more meaningful to us. ❤️

Elke dag is daar kinders wat ongelooflike moed wys in hul stryd teen kanker. Vandag kan ons vir hulle wys dat hulle nie alleen is nie.

Geen donasie is te klein nie. Elke bydrae, groot of klein, help om hoop te bring en maak 'n verskil in die lewens van kinders en hul families.
