Tonight, Someone Will Go to Bed Cold. You Can Change That. ❀️

While many of us turn on a heater, pull up an extra blanket, or put on a warm jacket without a second thought, there are families in our own community facing another freezing night with none of those comforts.

For a person with a disability, an elderly family member, or a child, winter isn't just uncomfortableβ€”it can be overwhelming.

This is where you can make a difference.
Mossel Bay APD's Winter Drive 2026 is collecting warm clothing, blankets, shoes, beanies, scarves, jerseys, and other winter essentials for those who need them most.

This year's Nelson Mandela Day theme reminds us:
"It's still in our hands to combat poverty and inequity."

A jacket you no longer wear could keep someone warm.

A blanket sitting in your cupboard could help a family sleep through a freezing night.

A simple donation can remind someone that their community sees them, values them, and cares.

At Mossel Bay APD, we believe every person deserves dignity, warmth, and the chance to face winter with hope. Together, we can ensure that no one is left behind.

Please don't let this winter pass without making a difference.
