Many of us have the choice to stay home under a warm blanket, switch on a heater, or avoid the winter chill completely. But for so many people in our community, that choice simply doesn’t exist. There are families, elderly people, and children facing these freezing winter nights without enough warmth.

Making an emotional impact is sometimes lending an ear to hear pain, a voice to give encouragement, a shoulder to comfort, But donating blood is know as a physical impact and can save lives.

We thank the klerksdorp community for their selfless service in yesterday’s blood drive, in helping reach 42+ units of live saving blood.
