Objectives of the project

* To provide daily psycho-social stimulation (physical emotional educational and spiritual support) to identified children between 0 and 6 years
* To provide an age-appropriate educational programme, daily
* To serve at least two nutritious meals per day
* To outsource transport for the children to and from the Centre
* To sustain the Centre by fundraising and public awareness – ie proposal writing and events

We at Khaya Tshepo - Home of Hope for Vulnerable Children were saddened to hear about the passing of our retired practitioner, Mama Dolly. Not only did she teach, but she loved to work in the garden and was a very good "handyman"! We will miss her loud HELLO whenever she visited us and attended graduations and special occasions. Part 2 of the HYDROPONICS PROJECT that the DEPT OF AGRICULTURE launched at KT this week. For us to understand, it is growing plants - in this case vegetables - in water, when there is no garden space.
