There are moments when words feel too small to express the gratitude we carry in our hearts. Today, Frances Hill Soup Kitchen and Aftercare would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Mychelle Taylor and Hermanus Catholic Church for the incredible kindness and generosity you have shown towards our organisation.

Your donation of clothes, shoes, curtains, chair cushions, and food ingredients has brought comfort, relief, and joy to many families, adults, and children who rely on our Soup Kitchen and Aftercare programme. Every item you gave was received with gratitude and has already made a meaningful impact in the lives of people who truly needed support.

What makes your generosity so special is not only the donations themselves, but the love, care, and compassion behind them. In communities where many people face daily struggles, your willingness to continue helping reminds us that kindness still changes lives. Because of your support, children feel cared for, families feel encouraged, and people facing hardship are reminded that they are not forgotten.

Thank you for continuously opening your hearts to our community and for standing alongside us in our mission to serve others. Your support gives us strength to keep going and inspires hope in the lives of those we assist every day.

We are sincerely thankful for everything you have done and continue to do. Your generosity has touched many lives in ways that words cannot fully describe, and your kindness will always be remembered with gratitude and respect.

Mag die Here elkeen oorvloedig seën.

After a long weekend of cold, wet weather, we are truly grateful to be able to serve our community again. These past few days have been especially difficult for many families, and moments like these remind us just how important a warm meal and a safe space can be.

At our Soup Kitchen and Aftercare, we currently feed and support over 110 people every single day from Monday to Friday. For many of them, this is not just a meal—it is their only meal, and a place where they feel cared for, safe, and seen.

We are reaching out with hope in our hearts to ask if you would consider becoming a monthly supporter. A contribution of just R200 per month can make a meaningful and lasting difference.

Your R200 can help provide:
• Warm, nourishing meals for those in need
• Ongoing support and care for children in our Aftercare program
• Relief and hope for families facing daily challenges

While no amount is ever too small, consistent monthly support allows us to plan ahead, grow our impact, and continue serving those who rely on us every day.

If you feel moved to support us on a monthly basis, please feel free to send us a message. Together, we can continue to bring warmth, hope, and dignity to those who need it most.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.

You are more than welcome to contact Frances Hill directly for any further information at 073 476 5483.

We extend our deepest and most sincere gratitude to all our generous sponsors for supporting Frances Hill Soup Kitchen with Easter goodies, including the thoughtful donations of hot cross buns and Easter eggs. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity have brought immense joy, hope, and comfort to those in need within our community. Because of your support, many families were able to experience the warmth and love of this special season.

Easter is a sacred time in the Christian faith, reminding us of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again on the third day, symbolizing victory over sin and death. This powerful message brings hope, renewal, and the promise of eternal life. It is also a time that highlights the importance of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and new beginnings, encouraging us to reflect on our lives, extend kindness to others, and strengthen our faith.

Thank you once again to every sponsor for making a meaningful difference. May your generosity be returned to you in abundance, and may this Easter season fill your hearts with peace, joy, and renewed hope.

And we are also proud to reflect on the success of our very first holiday programme as Frances Hill Aftercare. This experience has been truly meaningful, enriching, and inspiring for both our staff and learners.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all staff members who generously gave up their time, energy, and dedication to make this holiday programme possible. Your commitment to guiding, teaching, and supporting the learners did not go unnoticed, and we deeply appreciate your contribution.

To each learner who participated, thank you for your enthusiasm, discipline, and willingness to learn. We are extremely proud of the effort and excellent work you have shown throughout the programme.

As we move forward, we encourage all our learners to continue pushing themselves, to keep learning with determination, and to strive for a brighter and better future. Your hard work today is the foundation of your success tomorrow.

Well done to everyone involved – we look forward to many more successful programmes ahead.

With hearts full of gratitude, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to Mychelle and the church for their incredibly generous donation of clothing and shoes to Frances Hill Soup Kitchen.

Because of your kindness, many individuals will be able to stay warm during the cold weather and the winter that lies ahead of us. Your support is not just a gift of clothing, but a gift of comfort, dignity, and hope.

We truly appreciate this from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for always showing such compassion and generosity—not only to Frances Hill Soup Kitchen, but to every person and NPO organization you come into contact with. Your consistent acts of kindness do not go unnoticed, and they continue to make a meaningful difference in so many lives.

May God richly bless the work that you do across different communities, and may you continue to bring light and warmth to those in need.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the parents of the Aftercare children who celebrated the birthdays of the two learners by treating the aftercare and staff with cake. Your kindness and thoughtfulness brought so much joy and made the celebrations even more meaningful for everyone involved.

With sincere appreciation and gratitude. 🤍
