𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 💙

On 16 June 2026, a group of young people chose to spend their Youth Day giving back to others.

The Charity Park-Off, organized by Manuel and supported by Octotel , brought together car enthusiasts and community members for a day filled with great fun, powerful engines, and tremendous hearts.

Thanks to the incredible support of everyone who attended, a minibus was filled with donations of clothing, toiletries, toys, and other essential items. These contributions will go a long way in helping to care for the children and residents at Bethesda during the winter months.

Thank you so much for this initiative. We count ourselves lucky to be a part of this caring community!

𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿. 💙

Here at Bethesda, we cherish a spirit of Ubuntu and celebrate it through togetherness. One of our favourite ways to foster this is through group classes.

In this session, beanbags were used to work on midline crossing, helping to improve body awareness, coordination, focus, and movement confidence.

𝗔 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗖 💚

Elim Seventh-day Adventist Church Pacaltsdorp visited our CYCC and blessed every child with a 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸. The group also donated clothing, towels, extra sanitary pads, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Practical gifts that make a meaningful difference.

The children were also entertained with a special performance by the church’s 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀, which brought much excitement and joy. The message shared with the children came from 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟯:𝟭𝟲, 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. Afterwards, the children were prayed for individually.

It was truly a successful and blessed event. Thank you to Elim Congregation Pacaltsdorp and everyone who helped make this special day possible. Your kindness touched many hearts. 🙏✨
