BEST OF EDEN 2026 – It's a wrap!

Our inaugural community backed Schools coaching clinic was a huge success thanks to our awesome community of passionate hockey people!

Approximately 90 players received expert coaching from Technical Director Byron Shrosbree of Sticks and Balls Sports Academy, assisted by none other than SA Hockey legend and International coach Gregg Clark, our local hero, Captain Sam Mvimbi and a number of our volunteer Eden coaches.

Eden Schools Hockey is particularly grateful to Glenwood House School with its awesome facilities for hosting us! Thank You!! and especially the support shown by our parents and players who gave of their very best who received excellent value over the 2 days. First aid support was catered by amazing students from Outeniqua High School.

The event was fully subscribed and proceeds of the clinic will benefit the Eden Community budget for 2026 representative hockey campaign to reduce player costs of participation - Well done all and HUGE thank you!!

Congratulations to our U/16 IPT girls for coming 3rd at Nationals in the B section! We are very proud of your bronze! Well done to the coach, Cecilia Strydom and manager Claudia Machelm. The girls made this whole region proud!
