Isabelo means “sharing is caring” in Xhosa and Zulu.

And we can't think of a better name.
Because Isabelo is built on a very simple idea:
If you have enough, share.

Share food.
Share kindness.
Share opportunity.
Share hope.

Today, thousands of meals are prepared and distributed each week to children across Franschhoek.

That's how much milk Isabelo currently uses to help nourish the children we feed.
And at around R14 a litre, you can see how quickly the numbers add up.

But behind 175 litres isn't a statistic.
It's children starting their school day with something nourishing in their tummies.
It's energy for the classroom.

It's one more piece of the nutritional puzzle.
And it's one more reason why regular donations matter.

Here’s a number that might surprise you:

And Isabelo currently uses around 1,500 eggs every week.

Why eggs?
Because protein matters.
For children who arrive at school without enough food at home, adding protein to their day can make a meaningful difference to the nutritional value of what they eat.

Two Students. One Big Adventure. ✈️

Recently, two Kusasa students travelled all the way to Johannesburg to take part in a school competition.

We asked them about their trip, what they did, what they saw and what it felt like to represent their school.

For us, these are the stories worth celebrating.
Because education isn't only about what happens inside a classroom.

To Margot, whose passion and dedication inspire us every day. To the incredible cooks who prepare thousands of nourishing meals with love. To the teachers who shape young minds with patience and care. And to the young girls in our schools—dreamers, leaders and changemakers in the making.
