It was a pleasure to welcome students from the PACT Hospitality Academy, the satellite campus of the Franschhoek Hospitality Academy, to our main campus in Franschhoek, where they joined our students for an exciting and practical lesson in bread baking.
Beyond the flour, dough and freshly baked bread, this visit represented something far more meaningful: the power of partnership, shared learning and a common vision for the future of young people in South Africa.
Through our partnership, the Franschhoek Hospitality Academy and PACT Hospitality Academy aim to train, empower and inspire more young people to pursue rewarding careers in the hospitality industry. By equipping them with practical skills, professional values and the right attitude, we are opening doors to employment, independence and a brighter future.
Our vision extends beyond the individual student. We believe that every young person given an opportunity can become a catalyst for positive change, creating a ripple effect that strengthens families and transforms communities in both the Franschhoek Valley and the Karoo.
Because hospitality is about more than serving guests — it is about creating opportunities, restoring hope and building a future where young people can thrive.
