Our Places | Koinonia
Koinonia is our dining room, where meals become moments of connection.

Koinonia is the Greek word for fellowship and community. Around the table we share more than food. We share stories, laughter, encouragement and the gift of being known. Some of life's deepest conversations begin over a simple meal.

Time of Reflection: CARRIED BY GRACE
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." – 2 Corinthians 12:9
R E A D – Read this verse slowly several times. If possible, read it out loud.

R E F L E C T – Reflect upon the words being read. Listen carefully. Is there one word or phrase which stands out to you? Focus on the words. Repeat them. Allow God to speak to you.

R E S P O N D – Respond in prayer to God. Tell Him what you think about what you've read. Tell Him how it makes you feel. Tell Him what comforts you and what challenges you. Ask for His help to live out the truths you've uncovered.

R E S T – Stop. Be still. Stop talking, stop asking and rest. Spend some time in silence sitting with God. Invite the Holy Spirit and allow Him to transform you from within.

Love each other.
Recently, we had the joy of welcoming Order of the Mustard Seed to in Harmonie for their annual gathering.

At the heart of their time together were Jesus’ words in John 15:12–14:
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. This is my command: Love each other.”

A beautiful reminder of the call to love deeply, serve faithfully and walk together in friendship with Christ and one another.

Resting in grace.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." – Matthew 11:28
Jesus doesn't ask exhausted people to work harder. He invites them to come and find rest in Him.

What is making me weary right now?
Am I living from a place of rest or striving?
How is Jesus inviting me to slow down and trust Him today?

Our Places | Veritas
Veritas is our lecture hall, where we gather to learn, listen and grow together.

The name Veritas means "truth." Every teaching session, conversation and time of discovery points us back to the One who is Truth. Here, knowledge is never an end in itself, but an invitation to know God more deeply and to live faithfully.

The Lord is my Shepherd.
Recently, we welcomed guests to in Harmonie for a Quiet Day, creating space to slow down, reflect and listen for God's presence.

Using the Examen - a simple practice of reflection, gratitude and grace guiding us to notice God’s hand throughout the day - our guests spent time prayerfully reflecting on Psalm 23:

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

A quiet reminder that the Lord really is our Shepherd, and that we are never alone in whatever we are facing.

Grace in weakness.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." – 2 Corinthians 12:9
God often reveals His strength most clearly when we acknowledge our own weakness and depend on Him.

Where have I been pretending to be stronger than I really am?
How might God be working through my weakness?
What would trusting God's strength instead of my own look like today?

Our Places | Coram Deo
At the heart of in Harmonie is Coram Deo, our chapel. It is a place where we gather for worship, prayer, reflection and encountering God together.

Coram Deo means "in the presence of God." It reminds us that every part of our lives is lived before Him. Whether we arrive carrying joy, questions or burdens, this is a place to pause, listen and simply be with the Lord.
