🎨✨ Creativity is flourishing at the Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts Centre by Langrug Community Centre! ✨🎨

Our young artists are embracing every opportunity to explore, create and express themselves through art. From painting and drawing to mixed-media projects and colourful collaborative artworks, the excitement in the classroom is impossible to miss.

The children arrive eager to learn, experiment and share their ideas, and their growing confidence shines through in every piece they create. Seeing their pride as they display their work on our walls is a reminder of how powerful creative opportunities can be in helping young people discover their talents and build self-belief.

The art room has quickly become a place filled with imagination, laughter and endless creativity. Every week brings new ideas, new skills and new masterpieces!

A huge thank you to Kim Tracey our art teacher and supporters who make these experiences possible. Together, we are creating a space where children can dream, create and grow.

🖌️🎨🌈 The future is bright, colourful and full of imagination!

Great food + these amazing volunteers serving their own community = 350 full tummies! ❤️

This week’s menu of hearty samp & beans, fresh bread generously donated by Motherdough, and a crisp apple brought smiles and nourishment to children and vulnerable adults in Langrug.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, energy and kindness. Together, you’re proving that when a community comes together, incredible things happen. 🍎🍞🥣

Today we celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, aunties and mother figures of Langrug. ❤️

Behind every bowl of soup served, every child encouraged, every hug given and every smile restored, there are women carrying enormous responsibility with strength and love.

Mother’s Day is not only about flowers and cards. In communities like ours, it is about resilience. It is about mothers who continue to show up for their children even when life is difficult. Mothers who sacrifice quietly so their children can eat first. Mothers who support not only their own families, but the wider Langrug community too.

To all the mothers who help us care for the children of Langrug — whether through volunteering, supporting, encouraging or simply never giving up — we thank you.

You are seen. You are appreciated. And today we celebrate you. 🌸

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at the Langrug Community Centre.

Today, we share some very sad news.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our volunteer and tour guide, Siphokazi.

She was a valued part of our Langrug Community Centre family—warm, generous with her time, and proud to share her community with others.

Siphokazi leaves behind her two daughters, and our thoughts and prayers are especially with them during this incredibly difficult time.

Gone far too soon.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Siphokazi. You will be deeply missed. 💔🖤
