Big hearts. Big dreams. Life-changing impact. ❤️

From building an incredible success story with Biscoff to helping transform the lives of children in Langrug. ✨

So special to welcome our dear friend Jan Boone to the Langrug Community Centre!

Jan & Isabelle, your generosity goes far beyond sponsorship. You’re helping create opportunities, unlock talents and give hundreds of children a brighter future. ❤️

True success isn’t just about what you build, but about the lives you change along the way.

Proud to call you friends. Even prouder to share this journey with you. ❤️🇧🇪🇿🇦

Explore Langrug with someone who calls it home.

Our guide Yoleka welcomed another group of visitors for a township tour, sharing local stories and introducing them to our community and the work of Langrug Community Centre. 💛

Thank you to our guests for making us part of your visit to Franschhoek and to Yoleka for bringing her local knowledge and warm welcome to every tour.

Every booking makes a difference: all proceeds support after-school classes for children at our Tomorrowland Music & Arts Centre. 🎨🎶

A full plate. A fresh apple. A community that shows up.

Today at Langrug Community Centre, we served pilchards and pasta, with sourdough bread generously supplied by Motherdough and a red apple to finish.

A big thank you to Bridge House School student John Buchanan and his father, Malcolm, who joined our wonderful community volunteers to help serve today’s meal. Every helping hand makes a difference, and we’re grateful to everyone who gives their time and care.

Help us fill the next plate. Just R15 helps provide a meal through our feeding scheme.

🇧🇪 From Belgium to Langrug, a visit that helps keep children learning!

We loved welcoming a group of Belgian visitors with StievieWonderTours to our community.

Their visit began at Langrug Community Centre, learning about our feeding scheme, before heading out on a walking tour of Langrug with our guides AJ, Sanele and Z**i. The final stop? The Tomorrowland Music & Arts Centre, where children in our community have the opportunity to learn, create and discover their talents.

💛 All proceeds from our tours support our community’s after-school classes. Every booking helps make those opportunities possible.

Thank you to StievieWonderTours and our Belgian guests for making us part of your South African journey!

Come and meet our guides, hear our stories and see the work your visit supports.

Your creative talent could inspire the next generation.

We’re recruiting part-time creative teachers for 2027, teaching school-aged children and teenagers aged 5–18 at Langrug Community Centre’s Music & Arts Centre.

📍 Langrug, Franschhoek
🕒 After-school classes
These are Music & Arts Centre roles, not ECD or crèche positions.

Do you have a talent for art, music, singing or dance—and the patience and enthusiasm to teach it?

We’re looking for reliable, creative people who can plan engaging lessons and help young people develop their skills and confidence.

A teaching qualification is an advantage, but not essential. We’re looking for talent and the ability to share it.

📩 Email your CV to [email protected] and tell us what you would like to teach.

Know someone who would be a great fit? Please share this post or tag them below.

1,000 meals served this week—thanks to these wonderful people!

Our school holiday feeding programme is complete, and we want to say a huge thank you to every volunteer who helped make it happen at Langrug Community Centre.

From preparing food and serving meals to washing up afterwards, your time, hard work and care helped us serve 1,000 meals during the week. We’re so grateful for everything you do for the children.

These photos capture just some of the wonderful people behind the meals. Thank you, team!

Our Saturday feeding continues. Want to join us? Send us a message to find out about volunteering or donating towards meals.

🏊‍♂️ 1.9 km swim
🚴‍♂️ 90 km cycle
🏃‍♂️ 21.1 km run

One enormous challenge—and one very important reason for taking it on.

Langrug Community Centre board member Steven van Hoof is competing in the Ironman race in Mossel Bay on 22 November 2026, aiming to raise R200,000 for the Tomorrowland Music & Arts Centre in Langrug.

The Centre gives children and young people opportunities to learn music, dance, drama and art. The money Steven raises will help us provide the equipment they need to develop their talents and take part fully in these programmes.

Please support Steven’s challenge:

❤️ Donate through his crowdfunding page: https://www.backabuddy.co.za/campaign/why-steven-will-suffer-for-113-km
📣 Share this post with your friends, family and colleagues
🏅 Help us cheer him all the way to the finish line

Every donation—large or small—will help Steven reach his R200,000 fundraising goal and give children in Langrug greater access to music and the arts.
