The Ddp Durban Npc in partnership with the KZN Association for the Deaf (KZNDA) offered an engagement on youth and their participation in the upcoming local government elections. The youth were encouraged to register and vote as they are citizens with rights and their voice matters.

Partnerships and collaboration between organizations such as the DDP and the KZN Deaf Association are essential in promoting inclusion, equal opportunities, and meaningful participation for persons with disabilities.

Such collaboration strengthens collective impact and ensures that the voices and needs of persons that are abled differently are heard and respected. Together, we can build a more inclusive society where no one is left behind. We fully support and encourage these collaborative efforts. Thanks Dale Elizabeth Schonewolf for the opportunity to engage with the youth. Keep up the great work.

Earlier today, the Ddp Durban Npc convened an insightful workshop on strengthening social crime prevention through cooperative governance, civic education
and public participation, bringing together different stakeholders to share their perspectives on this topic and formulate a collaborative strategy to address social crime in our communities. Shout to the winning DDP team and our excellent associate facilitator, Sphamandla Khwela, who unpacked the different concepts expertly. We are thankful to all stakeholders who turned out for the workshop, your partnership with us, is highly appreciated and valued.
