[WATCH LIVE] The South African Police Service (SAPS) hosts its annual National Police Day and Career Expo on 27 January. In 2005, the Cabinet proclaims this date as National Police Day. On this day, SAPS honours the sacrifices made by the men and women in blue in their pursuit of safety and security for all who live in South Africa. It is also a day to pay tribute to those who lose their lives in the line of duty.

The National Police Day 2026 includes a SAPS Career Expo, offering learners, graduates, and job seekers the opportunity to explore the various career paths available within the
organisation.

🌟 Standing Together Against Bullying & Online Harm 🌟

During the last 2 weeks, Amanzimtoti Community Police Forum, Amanzimtoti Youth Crime Prevention Desk, Blue Security - Durban as well as Sparrow Trust revisited Kingsway High to have another impactful event, highlighting Cyberbullying and the fight against p*rnography.

‎Earlier today, the Amanzimtoti Youth Crime Prevention Desk along with the Amanzimtoti Community Police Forum, Sparrow Trust and Amanzimtoti SAPS attended the Khosi Netball Association's seasonal awards ceremony which was held at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre.
