A total of 4 members, operating in 2 vehicles, were deployed across the _Malvern Policing Precinct_ during the early hours of this morning.

*Patrol and Incident Log*

*Escombe*
Patrolled: Valley View, Ladd Road, Young Road, South Road, Morrison Street, Rownham Road, Meyer Road, Inverleigh Road, Newton Walker and surrounding areas.
No incidents to report. All in order

*CBD*
Patrolled: Coronation Road, Ethelbert Road, Purity Lane, Ridley Road and surrounding areas.
No incidents to report. All in order

*Parkside*
Patrolled: Fairlight, Hyde, Dipdale, Surlingham Roads.
No incidents to report. All in order

*Ridley Park*
Members conducted checks at the reservoir (top of Val Volker).
Patrolled: Jo Naude, Becton, Charlotte van Heerden, Nellie van Rensburg Roads.
No suspicious activity observed.

*Malvern South*
Patrolled: Glendale Gardens, Cullis, Baker, Gumtree, Vera Spence, Eagle Chrisway, Falcon Road
No incidents to report. All in order

*Poets Corner*
Patrolled: Leeway, Walter Perfect, Smuts, Montgomery, Allenby, Clover, Hillside School area, Conniston , Mountbatten and Pienaar Roads.

⚠️ *Observation*: A number of properties had no external lighting, reducing visibility and increasing vulnerability.

* No foot traffic encountered
* Very little vehicle movement observed throughout the shift
* Area remained calm with no incidents reported

A total of four members, operating in four vehicles, were deployed across the Malvern Policing Precinct during the early hours of this exceptionally cold morning.

Despite the conditions, patrol teams maintained a strong and visible presence throughout the area, ensuring proactive monitoring and rapid response across all sectors.

*Moseley*

Byrne Crescent, Haslam Road, Price Place, Cowell Place, Kemp Place, Dilkoosh Road, St. Augustine's Road, Scott Place, Heath Road, Keeling Place, Kloppenborg Road, Wirtz Road, Oliver Lees, Steven's Drive, Linda Crescent, Willem Appelgryn Place, Booysen Road, Pioneer Crescent, De Villiers Drive, Alexander Avenue, Pioneer Road.

* Two Blue Security dedicated vehicles were active in this area.

*Observation:*

* Water leaks identified in the middle of Price Place and St. Augustine’s Road.

*Nirvana Hills*

Natalia Road, Bernard Huss, Schooldale, Kashmir Avenue, Unicorn, Ritz, Strawberry, Mulberry, Youngberry, Blueberry, Brookdale, Richmond Road.

*Observation:*

* Robin Hood Road, a large brown dog at the lower end of the road caused disturbance among other dogs. Situation attended and all in order.

*Parkside*

*Observation:*

* One bin digger found loitering in Southwark Road

* Eltham Place,Two males observed outside a premises in the cul-de-sac, engaged in conversation. They appeared to be residents.

*Observation:*

* Two vagrants were found occupying the Ridley reservoir area and were requested to vacate.

*Poets Corner*

Park Road, Walter Perfect, Leeway, Allenby, Pienaar, Clover Crescent, Mountbatten, Madsen, Collingwood, Smuts, Hollings, Harold, Coniston, School Lane, Hillside, Oakfield, Nelson Crescent.

*Flamboyant Park*

Belville, 2nd Avenue, Elise Marwick, 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue, Bedale Road.

*Malvern South*

Carrick , vera Spence and surrounding roads, all in order.

*Malvern CBD*

* High traffic volumes were observed entering the area.

* One individual was found walking along Main Road in a highly intoxicated state and was instructed to return home.

*General Observations & Community Notes*

* Residents are encouraged to report unlit streetlights using the pole number and road name.

* Several refuse bags were placed out before the scheduled collection day, residents are requested to adhere to the correct times.

*Summary*

A coordinated and visible patrol presence was maintained across all sectors, with minor issues identified and addressed promptly.

A total of 3 members operating in 2 vehicles were deployed across the Malvern Policing Precinct during the early hours of this morning.

*Incident Log*

Report received of a suspicious person walking along Ladd Road. Members, together with security partners, conducted a thorough check of Ladd Road and surrounding areas. _No suspicious individual was located._

Members observed a male asleep in a white Toyota Cross at the corner of Vausedale Road and Greenfield Road. The individual confirmed he resides in Northdene and was advised to return home for his own safety.

Alarm activation reported at 20 Ladd Road. Members responded promptly and patrolled the surrounding area. _No signs of suspicious activity were detected._

Two vagrants were observed on Main Road near the railway footbridge. They stated they had been socialising at the M7 camp and were heading back to Mulberry Park. They were instructed to remain on Main Road and exit the area.

One vagrant was found sleeping in Purity Lane. He indicated he was travelling from Soweto to Durban Central. He was requested to move along.

Local Pool Bar was noted to still be trading during the early hours of the morning. Their patrons, Two males and one female were found consuming alcohol in the Coronation Walk parking area outside of the pool bar.
