Good evening all.

We have a mom and 12 year old boy in need of assistance.
Mom started working full-time after doing odd jobs the last 6 months. She did everything to provide for him and was blessed with a full-time work.

Unfortunately due to only starting this week she could not do her odd jobs and will not be able to buy food and toiletries this month.
Her son's clothes is also to small.

We managed to get them sorted with soup and bread for tonight and a meal for tomorrow.

Will anyone be able to assist with the following:
Food - home and school
Toiletries -
Clothing- 11-12year shoes size 5

We wish we could but it just aren't possible.

We as an organization work only with donations. If we do not get donations all we can do is ask.

Evening All

Please note Sanmarie is still trying to recover after her sudden admission on the 11 May
Although she was discharged she is not fully recovered and will be going to a Neurologist on Friday for Answers.

There is numerous message and requests for assistance with food parcels and clothing.
We are trying to work through it ASAP.

There is collections that needs to be done - unfortunately until Sanmarie have not seen the Dr the risk of her driving is to high. She is busy making arrangements with the members and if no arrangements have been made yet please send a message.

We currently have 58 families on our "regular " list that need assistance with basic food and toiletries.
Any items towards these hampers will help a lot.
Also any children and young teen clothing especially for winter will help a lot now.

We do get some monthly donations that help us to assist some of the families (We highly appreciated it so much every bit no matter how small helps a lot)but unfortunately it's not even enough to help 10 families with a weeks hamper.

Good day all

With being in hospital I helped whom I could but unfortunately we are now stuck. I need to beg now for assistance.

We have 39 more families that need assistance.
This is families with maybe another day or 2 worth of food left.

Our bank account have R337.52 left im our bank.
We also do not have any stock available to assist families with.

Since last week Saturday up until today there are alot i can not remember.

This was the worst week I have had.
From Dr's thinking I had a stroke to looking like I had measels up to now not knowing what was really wrong as all the tests they did just came back negative leaving us with more answers.
The only real thing we do know from the test is that my liver is struggling.

If you have to ask me anything that I did, do, say, or anything between Saturday and Monday I will honestly not be able to tell you as those days are a complete blank.

I am still recovering. This will be a longer recovery and I will need to listen to my body. (Yes it is very difficult for me to do)

But between all this I still had a few families we assisted (will complete admin this week)
And i also did receive new requests for assistance.

With winter coming we will be doing a winter Drive collecting anything from clothing, shoes, food, vouchers or any donations.

Evening All

Apologies for onlu updating now. I was unfortunately in hospital a few days.

Update on the 7 year old letter
*School clothes for both children have been sorted by the schools.
*They get porridge and sandwiches at school
We have paid rge R800 for the outstanding rent + a bit extra
Electricity have been sorted
(Normal months rent is R3850.)

Mom fell behind due to unpaid sick leave and are slowly getting back on the feet.

If anyone else want to still asdist it will be highly appreciated.
They have NO allergies
They do have freezer space
They work with a gas stove.
Their clothing sizes: (underwear and winter wear welcome. )
Girl - 7-8 years shoes size 12
Boy - 11-12 years shoes sizev4
Mom - medium, 34, shoe dize 5
Her 7th birthday was on Saturday (we got some gifts and assisted with cupcakes and a small part for mom an 2 children)

Hi all

We need help.
A 7year old girl wrote a letter.
The teacher saw it when she tried to give it to her friend. This letter was written on her birthday. Instead of being happy she felt broken.
They immediately talked to the mom and reached out to us.

We want to please ask help for them.
The teacher arranged for them to get food at school.
But we want to assist with the following:
Food - breakfast, dinner & weekends
Toiletries & Toilet paper
Clothing:
Girl 7-8 years shoe 12
Boy 11-12 years shoe 4
Mom medium shoe 5
Rent - R800 short
