The Universal Hand Signal for Help is a powerful reminder that we can all play a role in protecting those who may be experiencing abuse or human trafficking.

✋ Know the signal. Recognise the signs. Be someone who cares.

If you see someone using this signal, please do not confront the abuser. Check in safely and seek help.

GBVF and violent crimes don’t end with 16 Days of Activism or Women’s Month — they affect us every single day in a country of over 62 million people. Please listen to this Cape Talk interview about the Hand Signal for Help Campaign and consider joining as a volunteer — from any province.
