Today we honour the courage, resilience and determination of the youth of 1976 and celebrate the potential of South Africa’s young people as we commemorate Youth Day 2026.

In the spirit of this year’s theme, “RESET@50 – The Future Calls”, we remain committed to empowering communities and creating opportunities for a brighter future.

We are proud to be partnering with the City of Cape Town at our outreach event in Uitsig. We also had the privilege of participating in the Youth at Risk event held at Blue Downs United Congregation Church in Eerste River, in collaboration with the Department of Social Development and the Department of Health and Wellness.

Through these partnerships, we continue to support, uplift and empower young people, helping to build stronger, healthier and more resilient communities.

💚 Community Outreach in Action 💚

Our Uitsig Community Health Workers (CHWs) spent Thursday morning at the Uitsig Civic Centre with the wonderful Golden Oldies Group, enjoying a day of fellowship and creativity while they worked on their handcraft projects.

As part of our commitment to promoting health and wellness in the community, our CHWs provided:
✅ Blood Pressure Screenings
✅ HGT (Blood Glucose) Testing
✅ Education on Diabetes Prevention and Treatment

We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with our senior community members, empowering them with valuable health information and encouraging healthy lifestyles.

Thank you to the Golden Oldies Group for welcoming us. Together, we continue to build healthier and stronger communities💚
