“Keep your gaze on Him”

One can easily slip into offence, disappointment, discouragement in this season, when our attention is not on the Lord. David declares in Psalm 121

“I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭

God is OUR SOURCE of help. His promise is that He will never leave us or forsake us.
Maybe you have been disappointed by someone close to you, you had expectations or you did not expect to be in a predicament right now.

The word of God declares that His ways and thoughts are not like ours, this is where TRUST & FAITH in the Lord needs to be activated…..
(Isaiah 55:8-9)

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”

“Strip off the weights”

Release whatever is weighing you down unto the Lord in the place of prayer.

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

2. Pray in the spirit
3. Praise
4. Worship

Lord, I repent for being in the way of You. For making an idol of my situation and not going to Your throne of grace and mercy. Help me to remain focused on You. I repent for allowing myself to be distracted by the “weights” & disconnected from Your Presence. You are my source of joy and peace. Create in me a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me in Jesus Name.

Don’t despise the day of small beginnings ….

I remember taking a taxi wherever I needed to be, taking 4 taxis a day & walking extra distances, because the taxis only stopped as far as 10th Avenue & I stayed in 13th avenue. Callouses on my feet, I continued to walked.
No excuses…
I would take a “Riki”, literally a little van from work into town to drive me to CPUT to complete my Public relations course.

I used my lunch breaks and asked for extra time, and would work in that time to go for driving lessons. I paid for it myself, worked hard for a dream to have my drivers license. My first attempt at my driver’s license, I passed yet, I owned no car.
Only two years later I was in a position to purchase myself a car…..no hand outs, no quick fixes. I am grateful for everything the Lord has blessed me with, the process has not been easy….

Never despise the day of small beginnings……

My story to give God glory ….❤️

Jealousy is a spirit that projects as an emotion

*Symptoms*
* Despise others
* Struggle to celebrate & honour others
* Selfish (always about me, me, me)
* If you can’t have it, nobody else can
* Speak ill of others
* Bitterness
* Cannot offer support to others
* We struggle to see the gold in others

Jealousy can be destructive…it’s evil & the motive is always to destroy just like the enemy’s plan (John 10:10)
Eg. Cain & Abel, Saul & David

Prayer:

God rid our hearts from jealousy, envy & malice, & heal it to the posture that projects your love. Pour your love into our hearts so we can authentically love and celebrate others in Jesus Name
Psalm 51:10
“Create in us a pure heart 💓 oh God”

Lord heal our hearts to purity…🤍
May we lead & live our loves IN LOVE….

Decree🔥

You have supernatural strength according to Isaiah 40:28-31. You will rise above the storm and SOAR!

The weapons that have been fashioned against you shall not prosper (Isaiah 54:17)
We decree you have the joy of the Lord (Nehemiah 8:10)
We decree you have the peace of God (Phil 4:6-7)
You and your household shall be restored and serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15)
God is working all things together for your good. (Romans 8:28)
Whatever has not been planted by the Lord, may it be removed from your life!
May sickness, calamity, bad news, destruction, division, suffering be uprooted from your life in the Name of Jesus.

The good work the Lord has started in your life, shall be completed (Phil 1:6)

You will not give up (Galatians 6:9-10)
You will not die before your time (Psalm 118:17)

Fresh vision
Sharp focus

Sitting on the front row can be challenging, hard, it requires focus, a pure heart, a strong mind, and a “knowing” that God has placed me “there”….in that knowing, I discover it to be simultaneously so rewarding. My heart begins to well up with awe….tender with humility. He has given me everything that that pertains to life and to godliness, in Him I lack nothing…….🤍

He is my joy
He is my peace
He fills my heart to love others
He gives me grace to preserve
He opens doors that are beyond me
He lavishes His love on me

….”who am I that YOU are mindful of me?”

May I never lose my wonder ….Jesus ♥️

…..🤍Preach with compassion……🤍

During our worship encounter, the atmosphere was full of expectation, there was a deep hunger and cry, the saints streaming to the altar trusting God for a miracle. We could sense the desperation in the room as the Presence of the Lord intensified, and as my husband was leading in intercession, sharing the gospel for those trusting the God of miracles I saw the fire of God in his eyes, yet he was soaked in tears with deep compassion flowing from his heart…❤️ connecting to God for the people…..that moment was so significantly beautiful. More than the fiery message delivered…..His heart is what caught my attention…..
May we never lose our compassion for souls….do our hearts still break for what breaks His?….Do we still preach with compassion….praying with tears …..May we never lose our wonder for Him….& may our hearts remain tender🤍
