Reminder: The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners is currently seeking community members to serve on several Boards and Committees that help shape County programs, policies, and services.

Current opportunities include:

Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
Help review housing policies and recommend strategies to expand affordable housing opportunities.

Amelia Island Tourist Development Council (Tourist Industry/Tax-Paying Representative)
Help advise on tourism promotion, development, and the use of Tourist Development Tax revenues.

Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals (Construction-Related Representatives – 2 vacancies)
Help consider appeals and matters related to the County's construction codes and regulations.

Planning and Zoning Board (At-Large Representative)
Help review land use, zoning, and development proposals and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering phones and assisting customers
• Processing payments and handling daily paperwork
• Registering warranties on equipment sold
• Filing manufacturer rebates
• Tracking warranty claims and payments
• Maintaining organized office and customer records
• Preparing and sending requested paperwork to our accountant
• Assisting with other daily office duties as needed

Previous office, bookkeeping, or dealership experience is preferred. Applicants should be comfortable using computers, handling detailed paperwork, and following up on outstanding items.

💰 Pay: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm
