Genesis Home of New Beginnings is a private residential home established to create and rebuild stability and care for adolescent girls, ages 12-18.

Genesis Home of New Beginnings, founded by Shonda McFadden, was established to equip and empower adolescent girls, ages 12-18, by providing tailored and structured treatment in a home environment. This approach is strongly believed to help troubled girls successfully overcome the challenges of poverty, neglect, abuse and displacement. Genesis Home of New Beginnings focuses on providing a holistic

approach to healing the physical, mental, emotional, soulful and behavioral wounds that have crippled the lives of young girls.

At Genesis Home of New Beginnings, we believe every man deserves to be seen, heard, supported, and valued. Today, we stand with our male residents, male staff, fathers, mentors, brothers, and men everywhere.

Mental health matters. It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to talk about what you’re carrying. Strength isn’t found in silence—it’s found in healing.

This month and every month, we encourage the men in our community to prioritize their well-being, speak openly, and know they are never alone.

🧳✨ SUITCASE DRIVE ✨🧳

At Genesis Home of New Beginnings, we believe every young person deserves dignity, hope, and a fresh start.

Many of the youth who come through our facility arrive carrying their belongings in trash bags. Our goal is simple: if they come with a trash bag, we want them to leave with a suitcase. ❤️

A suitcase may seem small, but to a young person in transition, it represents value, stability, and the message that they matter.

We’re collecting new suitcases of all sizes for our residents, and we’d love your help!

📍 Drop-offs can be made at any Genesis Home of New Beginnings location.
