The Christmas season is quickly approaching, and here at The Salvation Army in York, we’re preparing to serve even more individuals and families facing financial hardship this year.
With the rising cost of living, the need for assistance in our community continues to grow. Through programs like Angel Tree, holiday meal assistance, and our annual Red Kettle Campaign, we’re working to make sure our neighbors feel supported, cared for, and remembered this Christmas.
But we can’t do it without YOU!
❤️ We’re looking for volunteers, especially RED KETTLE BELL RINGERS! 🔔
And we promise, it’s a whole lot of fun!
🎄 Grab your friends! Spend some time together spreading Christmas cheer while making a difference in your community.
🔔 Get your coworkers involved! Bell ringing is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses and organizations to give back. Make it a friendly competition between departments or start a new company Christmas tradition!
❤️ Bring the whole family! Volunteering is a meaningful way to teach children about generosity, kindness, and the importance of helping our neighbors.
Whether you can give a few hours or volunteer throughout the season, your time makes a difference.
We understand that the holidays are busy and that not everyone is in a position to give financially. That’s why we want to remind our community that your time is just as valuable, and your willingness to help means more than you know.
Every dollar raised through our local Red Kettle Campaign stays right here in York, supporting the individuals and families who need us most.
Interested in volunteering? Send us a message! We’d love to help you, your family, friends, business, or organization get involved.
We’d also like to extend a special thank you to FOX43 for stopping by to learn more about our holiday programs and helping us spread the word about the growing needs in our community. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and highlight the many ways our neighbors can make a difference this Christmas! Be sure to check out their recent coverage to learn more about the work we’re doing right here in York.
Together, we can make this Christmas a little brighter for our neighbors. ❤️
Thank you, York, for helping us Do The Most Good!
