Hi everyone!
We hope you guys enjoyed our very first virtual Relay for Life event yesterday! We just wanted to thank everyone, again, for your participation and your generous donations! We have currently raised $1,604.04 and donations are still rolling in! Again, if you did not get a chance to donate, you can still do so! You can click the Sign Up button at the top of our page, that will take you directly to our main Relay page and you can make a donation there. I hope you guys continue to stay safe and healthy!

The luminaria ceremony is a staple of the Relay for Life process. It is a special, solemn time for us to reflect on all of our loved ones and everyone in the world who are currently battling and also those who lost their battle to cancer. This is a video of the Luminaria Ceremony kick off speech that we would have read at our Relay, would it have been on campus. It is being recited from our own Colleges Against Cancer member, Tori Wuensche, who fortunately won her battle with childhood cancer.

If you know of anyone that has passed away from cancer, survived cancer, or currently has cancer, please think about dedicating a luminaria bag to them! They are $1 and you can purchase one by venmoing -kile . You can save this picture and then decorate it, along with the person on the bag! Please send them to us by dming us either on here or our Instagram page with the pictures! We will be creating a video for our Luminaria Ceremony with them, so please send them to us by 5:00 pm tomorrow! Thank you!

The current pandemic has forced us to stay home for many weeks. Our next activity is a scavenger hunt to get us outside (or moving around in your house)! The list for the scavenger hunt is posted below. Find as many items as you can and post your findings in the comments! If you find something that’s not on the list but is super cool, please share that as well!

Our first activity is to get you and your family moving around! Below are some really fun zumba videos to follow. With great music and fun dance moves, we thought zumba was the best way to start off the event!
