Interesting new 2026 study shows evidence of a genetic component in Fibromyalgia!

How many times have you been told that your pain is "all in your head" or just down to stress?

For decades, the physical reality of fibromyalgia has been dismissed due to a lack of clear biological markers. But science is finally catching up with what our bodies have known all along.

A landmark 2026 genetic study looking at over 2.5 million individuals has provided powerful new evidence that fibromyalgia has a true biological foundation rooted largely in the central nervous system and neural cell types.

Join us this Saturday 1pm at Rose Creek Public Library for a gentle yoga class with Spoons of Salt yoga therapist Jen Herndon. This FREE yoga class offered by Spoons of Salt is tailored to chronic illness and suitable for those with mobility challenges and hypermobility. You can do the whole class seated in a chair or standing with a mobility aid, whatever feels good to your body is what is acceptable in this class!
