Pollinator Palooza was such a sweet day of community, creativity, and education at Smith-Gilbert Gardens!

Families stopped by the Cultured Ag booth to make bird feeders to take home, and we’re excited to share that nearly 130 handmade feeders are now hanging in yards across our community helping support local birds one seed at a time.

This past Saturday, we spent the day seed starting with a self-watering wicking system at the Soil Festival hosted by Food Well Alliance and what a beautiful time it was!

Students had the opportunity to choose from a variety of summer crops to grow while learning hands-on about planting and sustainability. We loved connecting with new friends and colleagues while also seeing so many familiar faces from across the green space community.

Great vibes, meaningful mission, and incredible people all around. If you’re passionate about growing, sustainability, food systems, or community, this is truly the event to be at every year.

Thank you to our volunteer staff for being amazing AGvocates!💚

We are incredibly honored to share that Leadership Cobb c/o 2026 named Cultured Ag as their Nonprofit of the Year. Instead of giving guest speaker gifts throughout the year, they chose to pour into impact.

…and then it got even better.

As a collective class gift to their co-chairs, LC26 came together and raised an additional $5,000 for Cultured Ag. LC26 certainly does lead the way.

We are truly grateful. This impactful contribution will go directly into accurate agricultural programming in our community.

Thank you for believing in our mission of growing future leaders from urban soil. Thank you Leadership Cobb c/o 2026 for your generosity to Cultured Ag.

We also received a wonderful donation of accurate agriculture books that we will take with us on school and library visits.

Last week, Danah Craft, Board Chair of Cultured Ag was recognized on the Georgia Senate floor with a formal resolution honoring her leadership and service.

Executive Director of Cultured Ag, Chy Kellogg had the honor of standing alongside Danah and the incredible team at Feeding Georgia, where she consulted on the Feeding Georgia Military Food Initiative. Being in that space, witnessing Danah’s work uplifted at the state level, was both powerful and deeply meaningful.

Congratulations, Danah, and congratulations to Feeding Georgia. Thank you for serving our state, our communities, and our military families with such purpose and heart.
