📣 CALLING LOCAL CATERERS & FOOD PROFESSIONALS!

ONE Bartow is preparing for our annual Together We Serve Thanksgiving initiative, and this year we’re doing things a little differently.

When Together We Serve began, we provided Thanksgiving meals to approximately 110 seniors. Last year we served over 500 seniors. This year, our goal is 600 seniors! ❤️

As we’ve grown, so has the amount of food that must be prepared. This year, we’re looking to partner with several trusted local caterers and food professionals who can prepare specific menu items in bulk for our event.

These meals have been prepared by a very small team and a few of our favorite cooks and caterers.

This year we plan to ask for help from a few trusted caterers. For example, one caterer might prepare full-size pans of mac & cheese, another might prepare green beans, and another may help with a different menu item.

Food would need to be prepared, cooked and ready for service on the morning of Wednesday, November 25.

This is not a request for caterers to donate their food or services. ONE Bartow is budgeting to pay our food partners for agreed-upon food and preparation. Of course, if a business chooses to donate or sponsor a portion, we would be incredibly grateful.

Right now, we’re building our list of interested partners while we finalize menu quantities and logistics.

If you are a licensed caterer or food professional interested in partnering with ONE Bartow, please comment below, send me a message, or tag someone you trust and recommend.

Together, we can make sure 600 seniors throughout our community receive a delicious Thanksgiving meal prepared with love. ❤️

With Allatoona Elementary – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

We were so honored to be part of the 5th annual Lace'm Up Shoe drive, an amazing initiative led by Ashley Rogers and Khyri Rogers. This initiative is so important to our community and the blessing to have watched this event get bigger and bigger from day one has been a tremendous blessing.

This year Ashley donated the remaining shoes to us to gift to Allatoona Elementary and we were so very grateful! Thank you so much Ashley, Khyri, the New Hope church family and Lacem Up for the important work you do in our community! We are already looking forward to next year and other opportunities throughout the year to partner and live on our kids year round!!

A huge thank you to our incredible community partner ONE Bartow for their generosity and support of our Wildcat families! 💙💛

Following their 5th Annual “Lace 'Em Up Shoe Drive”, they graciously donated new and gently used shoes to Allatoona Elementary.

We are so grateful for partners like ONE Bartow who continue to make a difference in the lives of our students. Thank you for helping us care for our Wildcat family!

Say it with me! “I am kind. I am strong. I will do great things.”

As an Emerson Elementary alum, having the opportunity to return and speak to students through the Encourage Kids to Greatness Program was truly a full-circle moment. 💙

I shared stories about my time at Emerson, from helping teachers and students as a teacher’s aide, to the lessons on kindness, encouragement, and leadership that shaped who I am today. I even shared how some of my closest friendships began during my years at Emerson and continue to this day.

The students were AMAZING, engaged, thoughtful, full of energy, and they even asked me to come back and be their teacher 😂❤️. Moments like this remind me just how important it is to pour into the next generation and help young people believe in themselves early.

I’m so grateful to Mr. Charles Phillips, Founder of the Encourage Kids to Greatness Program, and Jennifer Williams, Executive Director of United Way of Bartow County for the invitation and for the incredible work they are doing to encourage, uplift, and inspire students across our community.

The experience filled my heart in ways I can’t fully put into words.

Our volunteers are the heart behind everything we do. 💜

During Volunteer Application Month, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible people who show up, give their time, and pour so much love into our mission.

Whether you’re packing bags, unloading trucks, greeting families, or lending a helping hand wherever it’s needed—you are the reason we can serve our community the way we do.

Because of you, we are truly sharing love by sharing food. ❤️🚪

✨ Interested in volunteering with us?
We would love to have you! You can email Ashley Davis at [email protected] for more information.

From the bottom of our hearts…
thank you for showing up, for caring, and for being the heart of Red Door Food Pantry.
