Amazing Mutts and Wiggle Butts A small foster based rescue located in Acworth, Georgia helping local dogs that need us the most. When a family of pups is in need we help the whole family.

The Amazing Mutts and Wiggle Butts difference
We will help when we can and where we can. Often times those dogs in our local community that need us the most.

-All of our dogs are in loving foster homes where they can learn best what it is to be a part of the family; we never board our babies.

-Each dog that does through our rescue will have Lifetime membership. If they need to come back for any reason we welcome them with open arms.

-Ohana means family and family means no one is left behind or forgotten.

Someone got an upgrade…
We loves these beds. Especially to give a senior dog a safe place to rest during the day. When they have a hard time getting up onto/off the bed by themselves. We love to have them have the comfiest of spots in the floor.
Rocko, age 15, had a small size bed perfect for him. But when we purchased an xl size one for another senior who has cancer, Rocko decided he would take advantage of the larger bed.
He looks so comfy, so long story short, we have another xl bed on the way.

Looking for Her Forever Patch! 🎃
Reagan is a 5-to-6-month-old mixed breed pup who is expected to grow into a medium-to-large adult dog. While she might look like a sweet, spooky-season treat, the big wide world feels a little bit like a haunted house to her right now. Because she is under-socialized, ordinary sights and sounds can be quite scary. However, she is working hard on building her confidence and learning new skills every day!
To help her navigate the tricks and turns of growing up, Reagan requires another confident dog in the home to show her the ropes and prove that life isn't so frightening.

🐾 Reagan’s Spooktacular Profile

• Age: 5–6 months old (The perfect age for basic training!)
• Size: Medium to Large mixed breed (More of her to love!)
• Personality: Sweet but shy, observant, and a work-in-progress.
• Superpower: Building her bravery one small step at a time.

🔮 Her Perfect Forever Home

• A Canine Co-Pilot: Reagan must have a balanced, confident dog in her new home. She relies heavily on canine body language to realize she is safe. Watching another dog run, play, and greet people will be her magical potion for building confidence.
• Patient & Gentle Humans: Her future family needs to understand that the world is a lot for a young, unsocialized pup. She needs people who will celebrate her small victories—like sniffing a new object or stepping onto a new surface—without forcing her into scary situations.
• Skill Builders: Reagan is currently learning that human hands bring good things (like treats!). She will need continued positive-reinforcement training to learn her basic manners at a pace that keeps her feeling secure.

• 🎂 Age: 3–4 years old
• ⚖️ Weight: Approx. 50–60 lbs
• 🐕 Breed: Mixed breed (an amazing, one-of-a-kind mutt!)
• 🩺 Health: Spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and treated for heartworms.

• Background: She was surrendered from a home because there were "too many dogs."
• Personality: Confident, incredibly friendly with new people, and loves going for car rides.
• Training & Habits: She has great crate training skills (she is highly food/treat motivated!), takes treats gently, and her leash skills are steadily improving.
• Play Style: She loves chasing balls and playing with squeaky toys.
• Dog Compatibility: Jade can be selective about her canine friends. The rescue recommends a meet-and-greet with any existing dogs in your home prior to finalizing an adoption

We had an adoption event yesterday. I think the threat of storms kept a lot of people home.

We took the opportunity to get some new photos of our adoptable loves.

The next few days we will be updating bios/pictures, sharing their stories in hopes to get a little more interest.

At this time, we have no pending applications 😞 and lots of amazing pups looking for a happy ever after.

So next weekend we will try again.
Join us Sunday, October 18th for our adoption spooktacular.
