HAHS is dedicated to the humane treatment of hooved animals.
(1)

The Hooved Animal Humane Society (HAHS) is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1971 by six concerned and committed citizens. It is HAHS’ mission to promote the humane treatment of hooved animals through education, legislation, investigation and if necessary, legal intervention (impoundment). In addition, we provide physical rehabilitation to animals that have endured severe neglect and abuse and then adopt them out to compassionate forever homes.

🐴 NEW ARRIVALS AT HAHS! 🐴

We have some exciting news to share! ❤️ The Hooved Animal Humane Society has welcomed 7 horses into our care: one gelding, three mares, and three foals. We believe these horses are Quarter Horse types.

Since arriving at HAHS, they've received much-needed veterinary and farrier care while our team works hard to support their rehabilitation and prepare them for their next chapter. We are excited to announce that we're now accepting adoption applications through our website!

Every horse deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we look forward to finding these wonderful horses the loving homes they deserve. ❤️

🏡 Interested in adopting? Visit our website to learn more and submit an adoption application!

We know these horses will be popular, and we appreciate everyone’s interest! Please be patient as our team works through inquiries and adoption applications over the next week or so. We look forward to connecting with everyone! ❤️

🐐❤️ HAPPY TAILS FOR DOLLY! ❤️🐐

We’re so happy to share that Dolly has found her forever home! 🏡💕

Dolly was welcomed into a wonderful, kind family who already had a goat that really needed a friend. Now, Dolly has a new goat sister, and these two are already best friends! 🥰 There’s nothing better than seeing animals find not only a loving family but also a companion of their very own.

We couldn’t be happier for Dolly and her new sister, and we’re so grateful to her adopters for opening their hearts and home to give her such a wonderful life.

Happy tails, Dolly! May your days be filled with friendship, love, and lots of happy goat adventures! 🐐❤️
