Thursday at the Soup Kitchen…

Head cook Dina Hill reported that today’s meal was fish, baked potatoes, salad and coconut cream pie. She had a wonderful team of volunteers (Mike Berry, Sherri Shoemaker, Larry Strickland and Mark Veilleux) assisting and working together to make this meal possible. Thanks to all who helped!❤️🙏🥣

Wednesday at the Soup Kitchen…

46 hungry folks stopped in for Shelley’s meal today. Assisting her were volunteers Dianne Godfrey who did Publix pick up, Darrell Jackson, Amber Mims, Ray Rutledge and Corey Walker.

Several folks received flu shots at the clinic provided by Walgreens.

Thanks to all who had a part in making this meal and the flu shot clinic possible!❤️🙏🥣💉

Tuesday at the Soup Kitchen…

Head cook Shelley McCandless reported that 40 plates were served today to those who dropped in for a meal. Soup was good.😋🥣😋

Other volunteers who assisted were Wayne Gizzi who also did Publix pick up, Ray Rutledge and Corey Walker.

Don’t forget…Flu Shot Clinic is tomorrow!

Anyone who is interested in covid, pneumonia, tetanus shots or the 65+ flu shot will need to sign up ahead of time at the Soup Kitchen. These would be covered only through the insurance (medicare, etc). Bring insurance card.
