CECO is a Winter Park, FL, non-profit center offering programs for children and adults with motor disabilities, such as cerebral palsy. CECO opened its doors in 2001 with the support of families who wanted a program to challenge their children with motor disabilities to acquire new skills and greater independence. CECO’s mission is to combine physical and social educational methods to meet the unique needs of children with motor and cognitive disabilities. Since its inception, CECO has expanded its programs to meet the needs of children and adults with motor disabilities in Central Florida and worldwide. CECO runs a private school, after-school programs, in-home sessions, early intervention program, and summer programs. CECO’s programs infuse motor activities into a life skill-building curriculum focused on increasing the independence of children and adults with motor disabilities.

We’re excited to welcome new participants to CECO’s Adult Program, serving adults ages 22+ with neurological motor disabilities.

Our program focuses on building life skills, encouraging physical activity, strengthening social connections, and promoting greater independence, all in a supportive environment where every ability is celebrated!

From building friendships to exploring new opportunities, our participants continue to learn, move, and grow every day.

Look at Lincoln standing tall! 💙💜

Lincoln’s journey at CECO has taken him from individual Early Childhood sessions to spending his full school day learning through Conductive Education and special education in our Lavender Class!

During daily sessions, Lincoln works on mobility, strength, balance, and coordination through activities tailored to his individual needs and goals. Seeing him go from sitting to standing is such a special milestone and a wonderful reminder of how much he continues to grow. We’re so proud of Lincoln and all he’s accomplishing! 🥹💙💜

We loved welcoming the FOX 35 team and sharing Lily and Nora’s story alongside their mom, Tiffany, who shared why she moved her family to be part of CECO and the incredible difference it has made in her daughters’ lives.
