Field Director Ethan Witt was able to spend 9 days in Kerr County Texas helping in flood relief efforts. Jobs ranging from massive land clearing to back blading dirt off of a driveway. We were able to help countless people in their time of need and share the Love of Christ!

A huge thanks is in order to all the folks that came to volunteer as well as the other disaster relief non profits and companies we were able to work along side! Without the help of volunteers we wouldn’t have made the impact we did!

We also were the beneficiaries of the Fuel Relief Fund who blessed us with nearly $1000 in diesel fuel, allowing us to run longer and with minimal overhead.

Every trip is different and we find ourselves being blessed when we’re the ones trying to be a blessing. From people opening their homes for crews to stay, meals being dropped off while working, or running us around so we can leave our equipment on site. So many things that happen and just point to Gods hand of provision. We are beyond grateful.

Every trip there are so many people that come out and help and we cant ever thank them all, but here’s a few!

Sunday and Monday we had the opportunity to work at Mr.Roys house. Mr.Roy had just finished remodeling his home from last years flood 3 weeks ago. He left his home just 30 minutes before the wall of water came through. He lost everything. He was at a loss of what to do and where to start. But then volunteers came out of the woodwork. It changed the way he looked at the entire experience seeing how complete strangers cared enough to come and help him. Mr.Roy was just grateful and blessed that the Lord saved him from the flood waters once again.

We do this ministry to share the gospel yes, but also to be the hands and feet of Christ. Mr.Roy was in that valley and couldn’t quite see out of it. He needed the hands and feet of Christ and I’m glad we were here to be that for him!

Diesel is one of the biggest expenses for our ministry. The trucks to respond, the equipment to work and clear debris. At over $5 a gallon it adds up quick! But we were blessed by Fuel Relief Fund and have been allowed to fill up all of our trucks and equipment at no cost! This is a huge blessing to keep us working and helping folks and sharing the gospel!

Historic floods have once again struck Kerr county. The community that was devastated last July and just beginning to recover now finds itself in a similar position. The general tone has changed though. Last year the labor was heavy. It weighed in people’s minds and hearts. This year is different. Without the massive loss of life the work is easier. The mood is grateful and optimistic!

Field Director Ethan Witt arrived in Kerr county Saturday afternoon. Upon hitting the ground we began to work at a property with three houses. Clearing brush, debris, and vehicles. We returned Sunday morning and continued working our way down the river.

We were blessed to have volunteers Mark and Kaitlyn Pickard from Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church. As well as being able to team up with Lone Star Rescue and Recovery again. Continue to pray for us as we minister to these folks that were affected and pray for them as they work to rebuild their community again.

You always meet the most resistance from the devil when you’re on the right track for the Lord. This weekend was no exception….

Shortly after leaving Friday afternoon an issue arose with the f450 towing the equipment. After making some calls the decision was made to turn around and swap trucks. Before we could reach home the turbo went out completely leaving the truck dead. Archie and Ethan scrambled and were able to get the equipment and truck back.

We backed up and punted and decided to leave again Saturday, using Ethan’s personal truck to tow just the skid steer. He would then be on the ground in Purvis Sunday morning.

While driving through rain and light traffic Ethan hydroplaned and narrowly missed several vehicles before going into the median and jackknifing. By Gods grace no one was hurt or involved in the accident, and the truck is still drivable, but severely damaged.

Much like many other ministries we spend a lot of time on the road and put a heavy tax on these vehicles. Please continue praying as Ethan returns home and we work through repairing these trucks! We’re down for now, but not for long! Thank you for your continued support!

Director Archie Rich and field director Ethan Witt are on the road! They are currently headed to Purvis Mississippi to minister to those in need after the recent tornado outbreak!

If you know of anyone that may be affected in the surrounding area don’t hesitate to reach out!

Also reach out if you’re interested in volunteering in the coming days!

As always pray for traveling grace and that the Lord will put us in front of those that need not only help from the physical storm but also help from the storm of life!

Field Director Ethan Witt arrived in Mineral Wells Texas this morning. He began working alongside Lone Star Rescue and Recovery. The area was heavily affected, but the community is rallying together to clean up! Foxhole Inc arrived in the area and will be working alongside tomorrow. Please pray that the Lord puts us in touch with the right people and we have the opportunity to share Christ with the community! Thank you for your continued support!
