Thank you to everyone at Dyer Difference Award for acknowledging the positive impact that Silly Sock Saturdays has made in our community! So grateful to be acknowledged for the difference we have made for so many kids over the past 9 years!

🧦💙 Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference.

Dyer Kia Lake Wales is proud to present a Dyer Difference Award to Silly Sock Saturdays Corporation, a remarkable Polk County nonprofit dedicated to bringing comfort, smiles, and hope to children during some of their toughest days.

Founded by Zachary Kirkland while he was still in middle school, Silly Sock Saturdays has been delivering monthly gift bags to children in local hospitals since 2017. Each bag includes colorful silly socks, coloring books, comfort items, toys, and games designed to brighten a child’s hospital stay and remind them they are not alone.

Every month, approximately 60 children and their families receive a little extra joy thanks to this amazing organization and the volunteers who support its mission.

At Dyer Kia Lake Wales, we believe in making a positive impact in the communities we serve, and Silly Sock Saturdays is a perfect example of how one person with a big heart can change countless lives.

Was getting a little low on some inventory …

Excited to make a super Saturday delivery to Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women pediatric wing at Lakeland Regional Health!
They were even giving out flowers to the moms that were there with their kids! 🌺

Time for a January delivery to Lakeland Regional Health! So excited to be able to start the new year by spreading some smiles to the children in the pediatric wing of the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion For Women And Children.
As always there’s never a good time to be in the hospital and especially with the flu this season! Feeling very blessed to be able to continue making a positive impact in our community! Thank you for your continued support!
