The Center for Well-Being at H4WH

The Center for Well-Being at H4WH Counseling, coaching and other opportunities to grow in relationship to self and others though build Well-being has a reflective quality.

It shows when our “true image” is benefitting from the work of restoration in our lives. Yet, it is not just an individual measure of growth, it has a community aspect. The body, mind, and spirit’s growth seems to benefit the most through connection in meaningful relationship (community). Spiritual poverty breaks relationships and isolates us from one another. Coming together is the anti-dote for he

aling the damage caused from this brokenness. At The Center for Well-Being, we want for you to understand your value and purpose in the context of healthy relationships. We want you to experience the life-transforming process of restoration and unleash healing people as restorative healers. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” -Psalm 147:3

Minimally, we want for you to grow and feel heard and valued. We hope for you to learn to be present in the moment, learn about yourself, to value yours and others’ differences, and to feel connected to your unique purpose. Optimally, to experience deep, enjoyable, meaningful relationships and to seize each day with creativity, peacefulness, fulfillment, love, curiosity, and wonder. The Center for Well-Being benefits from the experience of independent contracted professionals with a variety of backgrounds. Please note: Specific modalities offered are Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM Therapy) by Brad Beatty, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy by Jennifer Goodson.

Yesterday’s Mental Health First Aid Training was a powerful reminder that when community members and law enforcement come together, lives are strengthened and hope is restored. 💙

We were honored to host dedicated officers from the Winter Haven Police Department — truly Winter Haven’s finest — alongside members of our community for a day focused on mental health awareness, support, and practical intervention skills.

Mental Health First Aid equips participants to recognize the signs of mental health challenges, respond with compassion, and connect individuals to the help they need. Together, we are building a safer, healthier, and more supportive community for everyone.

Thank you to every officer, participant, and community partner who took part in this important training. Your willingness to learn, serve, and support others makes a lasting difference. 💚

We had a wonderful time today partnering with the Neighborhood Service Center, alongside BayCare and other amazing community partners, for a meaningful Mental Health Forum!

Our team shared on mental wellness, personality, and “Art for the Heart,” and the highlight was definitely the hands-on activities. Participants loved creating coloring pages and making sand art.

Moments like these remind us how powerful creativity can be in supporting our mental well-being. 💛
