September 2026 – January 2027

Do you enjoy decorating, working with your hands, and being part of creating magical holiday experiences for millions of Guests from around the world?

Carpenters Local 1820 is now accepting applications for Holiday Services CT Decorator positions at Walt Disney World Parks & Resort.

💰 Starting Pay: $23.42 per hour
🌙 Third Shift Differential: +$2.00 per hour
🛠 Experience with hand tools, decorating, fabrication, theatre, props, or scenic work is a plus.
🎄 Work on holiday displays throughout Disney Parks, Resorts, and Disney Cruise Line locations.
📍 Seasonal Employment: September 2026 – January 2027

Requirements:
✔ High School Diploma or equivalent
✔ Comfortable working on ladders
✔ Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and third shift assignments
✔ Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
✔️ Able to travel
✔️ FL Driver License

Meet Shawn! 👋🏻

We’re happy to welcome Shawn Hooven as a Council Representative for the Southern Regional Council of Carpenters - Carpenters Local 1820.

Shawn brings more than a decade of experience at Walt Disney World, having progressed from CT Craft Support Decorator to Decorator, served as a Shop Steward, and advanced into leadership roles including Working Foreman and Plan Work Specialist (PWS). His experience advocating for members in discipline and grievance matters will be a strong asset to the membership.

If you see Shawn out on property, be sure to give him a warm welcome!
