TODAY is DAF Day!
A nationwide celebration of generosity through Donor-Advised Funds.

Nonprofits of every size are asking their communities to make their DAF gifts count today, and we hope Poverty Solutions Group is on your list.

Every grant recommended through your DAF helps us support families whose wages don't meet their basic daily living expenses. You can help us reduce poverty one household at a time!

🧡 Today your DAF can do more than ever before. Join us and be part of the movement. Let’s show what’s possible when we give together.

PSG's Executive Director, Lynette Fields, and Circles West Orange Coordinator, Catalina Urquiaga, had the privilege of sharing our story at a recent Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips. We had a chance to thank them directly for their grants over the past year that helped cover the cost of some of our Circles meals. Circles is built around the model that relationships are key to reducing poverty and meals are an essential part of creating a sense of community. Thank you for your support! Thank you to our Board member, Pam McGee for welcoming us to the Rotary breakfast.

PSG is grateful to Florida Policy Institute and MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger for making it possible for four of us to be able to attend the FPI Advocacy Summit in mid-September. It was a wonderful time with intensely passionate advocates in a beautiful location.

Shout out to Orange County, FL Supervisor of Elections for their awesome Adopt-a-Precinct (AAP) program that allows organizations to serve as poll workers and raise money for their organization. It is a long day but well worth it! 🎉👏

Thank you to those who not only show up to work 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day but also attend 3 to 8 hours of training in July AND help set-up the day before! 🫶

Folks from our Circles program filled up our AAP team and we worked both precincts at the beautiful lakeside Tanner Hall in Winter Garden. Thank you to the staff at Tanner Hall for showing up super early on Tuesday morning.

The AAP program helps us understand the election process--so many checks and balances, builds teamwork, raises money, and provides visibility to our organization. It's a win-win-win! 🎉
