This morning, we joined WESH 2 News and Meredith McDonough - WESH 2 News to discuss our upcoming Healthy Beginnings for Moms event.

In partnership with the West Orange Maternal Health Collaborative, this one-day event will bring together free and affordable prenatal care resources in one place, ensuring pregnant women have access to the care they need, regardless of their insurance or financial situation.

It was a privilege to share this important effort, alongside Jennie Joseph and Commonsense Childbirth Inc. - Easy Access Clinic.

Healthy Beginnings will take place this Saturday, April 18, from 9am-3pm at the Healthy West Orange Building.

Oftentimes, conversations about healthy aging focus on exercise, diet, or avoiding smoking.

But there’s something just as powerful—and often overlooked: our social connections.

Strong relationships and a sense of belonging play a critical role in how long, and how well, people live.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips for the opportunity to speak with your members about Vibrant, our newest initiative to reimagine aging in West Orange, and to share a broader view of our work to cultivate the healthiest community in the nation.

Dr. Phillips is our second planned Vibrant Neighborhood, and in the months ahead, we’ll convene local residents and leaders to listen, learn, and co-create a model shaped by the community.

We’re energized by what’s ahead as Vibrant West Orange grows, one neighborhood at a time.

This weekend, 700+ runners and walkers braved the cold and crossed the finish line at our Westly's Annual 5K, marking an all-time participation record. We're incredibly grateful to the participants and partners who made this moment possible.
