🐻💙 Oak Grove Middle School Meet the Teacher Night! 💙🐻
We are excited to welcome our Grizzlies and their families back to The Grove!
📅 Wednesday, August 19

⏰ 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

📍 Oak Grove Middle School
This will be a floating, drop-in event where students and families can:

✅ Meet teachers and staff

✅ Tour the building

✅ Learn about the upcoming school year

✅ Get connected before the first day of school
🎓 Incoming 6th Grade Families: Be sure to join us for our 6th Grade Orientation Meeting at 6:30 PM to learn more about middle school expectations, opportunities, and what it means to be a Grizzly!
We can't wait to meet our newest Grizzlies and welcome back our returning students as we begin another year of growth, excellence, and opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of our students and how well they performed on their EOGs! Their hard work, dedication, and determination truly showed, and they absolutely rocked it! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered and donated to help make this day special and full of motivation for our students. Your support helped encourage and inspire our kids to give it their all. We appreciate each and every one of you for helping make a difference!

TAME 2.0 is a free, two‑evening educational program designed to help parents navigate several important issues impacting today’s youth. Topics include:

• Social Media and Online Safety
• Va**ng and Current Substance Trends
• Grooming and Online Predators
• Youth Decision-Making
• Building Healthy Parent–Child Communication

💙🐻 Volunteers Needed for Our EOG Celebration! 🐻💙

We’re getting ready for an exciting EOG Celebration on Tuesday, May 26th, and we need some amazing OGMS parents to help us keep the perimeter secure during the event. This celebration is outdoors, so feel free to bring sunblock, a chair or blanket, and a water bottle to stay comfortable while you help us cheer on our students.

As a perimeter volunteer, you’ll have a front‑row seat to all the fun! Students will be enjoying:

🎨 Color war
🖌️ Banner painting
🏃 Field games
💁‍♀️ Hair spray stations & temporary tattoos
🍧 Treats, sports games, and so much more!

Your presence helps us keep the event safe, organized, and full of joy for every student who worked hard and excelled on their EOGs. We would love to have you be part of this special day.

💙 Help Us Celebrate Our Students! EOG Gift Card Donations Needed 💙

We’re gearing up for our EOG Celebration on Tuesday, May 26th, and we want to make it extra special for our hardworking Bears. Students will earn tickets during EOG testing, and they can use those tickets to enter a fun raffle — but we need your help to fill it with great prizes.

We’re asking our amazing OGMS families to donate $5–$10 gift cards to support the raffle and celebrate our students’ effort and growth.
