Last week, pediatric cancer advocates, PBTF staff, and families took part in PBTF's Annual Virtual Days of Action.
42 meetings. 21 states. One message: children deserve to be heard.
We asked Members of Congress to support Kylie's Voices for Childhood Cancer Act and the BRAIN Act — legislation that gives our community a seat at the table when decisions get made about cancer care and research funding.

For the fifth year in a row, Chaz is celebrating his birthday by organizing his annual 5K for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Last year he raised over $4,000 while recovering from a herniated disc, walking the course alongside friends rather than cancel an event families were counting on. Kylie Kupperman was almost four when headaches and a little clumsiness sent her family to the pediatrician. By the end of that day, "Smiley Kylie" was scheduled for brain surgery. She beat the tumor, lived 15 years with the aftereffects of treatment, and made it to her first-choice college — where the cancer came back. She died two months shy of 20. Her family is turning their grief into something that protects the families coming next.
