For individuals 18 and older with developmental disabilities, our Overnight Planned Respite Service is a home away from home.

With our DSP’s, CNA’s and in-house RN’s we provide the highest quality care for your loved one.

Respite is essential for caregivers, parents or guardians who care for someone with developmental disabilities. While the reasons are varied, the care your loved one will receive while staying at Linden House OPRS is consistent.

May at Linden House was full of activity!

To protect their privacy, we don’t always share our clients day-to-day lives or the things they do, but behind the scenes they are BUSY! Or sometimes they hang out at home and have a low-key day. Sometimes there are multiple activities in the day and sometimes none.

They go shopping, to appointments, out with friends and family, out on adventures and interesting excursions, they sometimes stay home and work on things they enjoy, sometimes it’s mundane housework or practicing life skills. Sometimes they have friends over and sometimes hang out in the quiet of their own space.

Like anyone else, the people we support have CHOICE in how they spend their day, and as Supported Living providers, we help them plan and manage their day in a way that makes them feel their best.

May, in the PNW gave us particularly nice weather and that was one consistent thing we all soaked up together!

A big HUGE thank you to everyone who showed up this weekend to shop at our Seasonal Market! Not only are you supporting local vendors, a portion of the proceeds went directly to Linden House Supported Living program and our clients!

We’ve all heard the saying “It takes a village” and we feel it now more than ever before! We are so thankful YOU are part of our village.

The SPRING Seasonal Market was a success and we can’t wait for our WINTER market to see you all again!

April was a good month here at Linden House!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported our fundraiser and a GIANT thank you to Burgerville for hosting us.

We had a fun American Sign Language (ASL) class taught by one of our amazing clients, so many showed up for an hour of learning and fun! Comment if you’re interested in coming to one in the future!!

We did so many activities and had fun going places but most importantly we understand that connection with friends and loved ones is a priority that can’t be replaced with outings or entertainment. At Linden House we help our clients live their lives filled with the connections and relationships they enjoy.

🍄Each season Linden House hosts a sale full of vendors selling their crafts, new and found decor, clothing, fresh bakery and other goods inspired by the season. A portion of the proceeds from the sale goes to Linden House, and by shopping our sale, you DIRECTLY support our clients!
