This is a video from 2023, but it still stands true of these precious girls who are hopeful for a future. When you have no one in your life to empower you, Jeremiah 29:11 becomes real- "I know the plans I have for you, say the Lord. Plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

You can be a part of that good plan. God uses people like me and you to fulfil his good plans for others. What a blessing and privilege to be an answer to someone's prayers.

It's graduation time for Hadassah πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸŽ“

Our favorite dancing and jumping young girls will be graduating in July from a 1 year tailoring school 🧢🧡πŸͺ‘

These girls have been picked from the streets and from some of the most horrible circumstances to learn who they truly are in the eyes of our creator. Director, Mercy, spends one year transforming these girls, mentally, physically and spiritually. They are not the same girls when they leave.

Our heart as a mission is to provide a sewing machine for each of the 35 girls graduating. Each year, from the beginning, God has provided this gift.

You have been so generous in the past! Will you help us lift this group of girls?

Each machine cost $125.00

Each machine represents a new start 🌈
Each machines means a dream achieved πŸ’₯
Each machine is a way to show the love of Christ to a young girl who needs support 🌸

Another primary school has fresh, clean water. Thank you to the donors. Thank you ITGM drill team for all your hard work to make this happen.

Another happy school! The ITGM drill team has installed a borehole at a very grateful primary school. πŸ’¦
The children made posters and attacked them to the truck, they had a parade with flags and signing as they left.
If we could only understand the magnitude of NOT having access to clean water. If we could capture the need and how each of us can do something.

Visit our website if your church, organization or family would like to bring joy to a village by donating a borehole.

Highlights from todays widow ministry.

We traveled on foot to the homes of 5 widows.

We left 2 homes filled with joy as we saw the children helping and caring for their mothers. When we asked a mother and her two daughters how we could pray for them, they said, just pray for blessings.

We left 2 other homes very sad. We saw the children taking advantage of their mothers. Selling their land from under them, dumping grandchildren on them, not helping their elderly mothers get food and water everyday.

One home had a very young widow who left us encouraged. She was working and doing her best to care for her children. She was taking up her responsibility as leader of the family.

Most all of these women still felt a sense of grief as we asked them to tell us their stories. Tears flowed freely as these women shared their heartaches and challenges.

Some lost husbands as long as 40 years ago, others just a few years back. Others lost grown children and were all alone.

We were able to share scriptures, pray for specific needs and share the love of fellowship with these women.

Our time with the Congo ladies has been postponed due to the Ebola outbreak. Uganda has closed the borders to the Congolese.

In the meantime, God gave us another group of ladies to focus on. Widows. He began to open our eyes to the large number of widows in our fellowship and church.
So far we have identified 20.

Today we began to visit them one by one in their homes. Praying, encouraging and getting to know more about their situations.

Two of these ladies accepted Christ as their savior today. We have 2 more days of visits to reach all of the ladies. Pray for our hearts and eyes to see what God sees.

It's back to school time in Uganda. πŸ““βœοΈβœ‚οΈ

For some kids it's the most exciting time, for others it is shameful, humiliating and heartbreaking.

Children are so hopeful that one day they will get to go to school. Some children will even show up at school, knowing that cannot pay schools, hoping by some miracle the school will let them stay, even for a few days. But eventually they are sent home and it's painful for these kids.

This little girl showed up at the house today for that very reason. Her mom has purchased the uniform and supplies but she could not afford the school fees, so she was sent home.

We are going to put her on our website to seek sponsorship but we have so many others in front of her, waiting.

Visit our sponsorship page, read a story and ask God what He would want you to do.

This picture of a child entering a school building represents 2 years of work. 2 years of praying and 2 years of building relationships.

Our team first met this child when someone asked if I could check on a small orphanage. If I'm able, I'm always willing to do welfare checks on children.

Children in Uganda have no protections. If there are laws on the books, no one enforces them. If you go to police, they will want a bride. If you try to open a case, the one who pays the bigger bribe wins, after your money and time are gone.

Prayer is the best weapon we have in facing these evils in Uganda. There is spirit of jealously, a spirit of abandonment and a spirit of rejection that reigns in this country. Children are abandoned and orphaned at an alarming rate.

Orphans are a challenge because they need total care, it's not the same as a regular sponsorship where we partner with the parents to provide a holistic education. Everything is on a sponsor or ministry to provide.

There are several more orphans where we found this one who would love the opportunity at an education. If you would be interested message me for more details.

Exodus 22:22

Gods heart is for the orphan and ours should be also πŸ’™
