⚠️ IMPORTANT TRYOUT INFORMATION ⚠️
• You MUST have a current physical uploaded online in order to tryout.
• If your physical is NOT uploaded, you WILL NOT be allowed to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• NO paper copies will be accepted.
• Upload all physical paperwork online at: Athletic Clearance

📌 IMPORTANT FHSAA REQUIREMENT
Under Florida’s “Second Chance Act,” all incoming freshmen (rising 9th graders) must have a cleared electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) heart screening on file before they can participate in any FHSAA athletic tryouts or sports.

Free Athletic physicals through UF Health are being offered on Monday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 22 7-9pm. Beginning 2026-27th school year, FHSAA will require all upcoming 9th graders to undergo an ECG in addition to physical. It is recommended for all sports participants and available for those in grades 10-12 that wish to include this exam. Participants will only be required to undergo this exam once during their high school career. We have arranged for transportation for this event for our student/athletes. Bus will leave from FB Field House at 5:30 on both days. Arrange for transportation to and from Field House following event. Physical/ECG forms are available at school.All participants must have these filled out and ready to present to doctors at event. Once the event has completed, students will need to take a picture of page 4 (physical exam) as well as completed ECG form, and download onto Athletic Clearance. If students have not created an account they may do so once they log on to Athletic Clearance (athleticclearance.com). Instruction sheet is available to assist with this.
