Father and Daughter...

I want to Thank You all from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind and loving words. They meant the world to me. They were so touching. I will never forget any of them and I did try to thank you all individually, I hope I didn't miss anyone, if I did , it sure wasn't intentional.
I am starting to get better with the idea, slowly, one thing at a time. I went through some of his papers and such, I have learned that he never threw any papers away, he saved every receipt, every deli container, and apparently he thought that he should save all of the plastic forks and spoons from Kwik Trip? Oh, and shoelaces, I found a whole wad of shoelaces in a drawer. Tons of keys. I brought home a bag of onions and an opened stick of salami from the fridge. They were perfectly good. I found some fossilized carrots in the bottom drawer of the fridge. A bag of almost squishy potatoes. I did the few dishes that he had in the sink. We started his truck and took it for a short ride, moved his tractor out of the way, I tried to cancel his one credit card, I will have to wait for Monday, and to cancel his landline phone, etc. Tonight I am looking forward to doing the free trial on Apple TV and watching The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. I got my jammies on, made a good dip, got some club crackers and take it easy the rest of the night. Small steps... tomorrow is another day. ❤
And again, Thank You all. My heart is full. ❤
