Summer Series begins this Sunday - 9am (outside), 11am (inside), & both online!

Life often feels like a wilderness. In the Bible, the wilderness is characterized by lack of resources and new enemies. It is the place where the way we have done things before no longer works and where deficiencies in our character are exposed (Ex. 16-18). In wilderness spaces, it is easy to get lost, angry, confused, or frustrated. In the midst of all our wilderness-inspired feelings and reactions, the book of Numbers makes a bold claim: “The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness…” (Num. 1:1). God speaks in the wilderness. God has something to say in the midst of the harshest environments, the direst circumstances, and the most painful realities of our lives. The Book of Numbers is God’s road map through the wilderness spaces of our lives.

The map unfolds in three stages: preparation (chs. 1-10), temptation (chs. 11-21), and invitation (chs. 22-36). Each stage invites the reader to explore questions about life in the wilderness. How do we prepare? What temptations will we face? What kind of life does the wilderness invite us to live? In the summer of 2026, working through the book of Numbers, the Chapel family will learn and apply God’s wisdom to our questions about life in the wilderness.

"But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand." — 1 Chronicles 29:14

To God be the glory!

This past Sunday, we deepened our commitment as a church family to meet people wherever they are. Thanks to the generosity of the Chapel family and the stewardship of the Chapel’s leadership, we were able to build this outdoor structure debt-free and without a capital campaign.

We're done!

06/04/2026

After months of hard work and prayer, we are excited to worship together under our new outdoor pavillion this Sunday. Both our 9 and 11am services will take place outside. In addition, each service will be streamed live in the main Worship Room and online. The outside service is one of the tools that helps us fulfill the mission Jesus gave the church and helps us meet people wherever they are. As we worship together outside this Sunday, we invite you to bring your camping chairs, beach chairs, lawn chairs, or blankets to embrace the flexibility that outdoor church offers.

As we walk this road together, we have opportunities to serve side by side, encouraging one another through selfless giving and making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
