Colonial Road Runners is the premier running club in the Historic Triangle (Williamsburg, James City County, York County) on Virginia’s Hampton Roads Peninsula.

📢 Our members are of all ages and range from casual runners/walkers to competitive national and even world-class Age-Graded competitors. It's never too late to join, and ma

ny of our members didn't begin running until they were in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.

💖 The real heart of the club is the friendships and bonds that are made. We have social events throughout the year, and everyone looks forward to our 🎖️ Annual Awards event in which we celebrate the efforts of our 🦺 volunteers and the accomplishments of our runners. We have 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ multiple weekly group runs, 🎓 award scholarships, support coaching training teams/individuals, and 🏁 sponsor races. 👟 Members enjoy discounts at many sports stores and athletic clubs.

📅 Our race calendar is one of the best! We have a 🏆 Grand Prix running circuit and jointly run the 👑 Hampton Roads Super Grand Prix. CRR, established in 1981, is a nonprofit under the Road Runners Club of America’s group exemption. We also provide race services for our sponsored races.

8 a.m. for 1 mile fun run/walk; 8:30 a.m. for 5K run and 5K walk

A Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event

Also a Colonial Road Runners Post-race Picnic at the Pool

[including pizza, beer, wine and soda for CRR members!]

Online registration closes Wednesday June 3 at 11:59 p.m.

The Kingswood KLAM 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is on Saturday June 6, 2026. It includes the following events: Kingswood KLAM 5K run/walk, Kingswood KLAM 1 Mile Fun Run, and Kingswood KLAM 5K Race Walk.

Ragnar Trail Richmond is BACK for it's 10th year running on April 24-25, 2026. This wild, fun and rewarding overnight trail running experience takes place just outside of Richmond at Pocahontas State Park.

Sign up now for the Queens Lake 5K to support the CRR Scholarship fund. These funds are awarded to graduating high school seniors of the Local James City County High Schools.

The Queens Lake 5K Run/Walk (CRR Scholarship Race) is on Saturday April 4, 2026. It includes the following events: Queens Lake 5K Run, Queens Lake 5K Race Walk, and Queens Lake 1 Mile Fun Run.

A reminder that the CRR elections meeting is tonight - Thursday, March 26 at Spoke and Art:

5 p.m. – sign in for group run

5:30 p.m. (and late group at 6 p.m.) – group run start

6:30 p.m. – CRR Elections meeting – business part, including elections and club business

7:00 p.m. – Featured speaker Stephanie Giammittorio, a noted sports medicine doctor, who will talk about injury prevention and treatment.
