Day 4 at the 99th National FFA Convention⭐️⭐️
We had wonderful day at the convention spending our time in the sessions for the day and the expo hall! We heard some amazing returning addresses from the National Officers and keynote speeches! We learned From Claire’s retiring address and what hides in our shadows and not letting our shadows lead us, turn to the light and who we are made to be. We learned from our keynote speaker that our life is a story and a story is where we have a plan and then something happens so what do we do now? THIS IS THE PART where we decide to get back up. And we learned from T. Wayne how to make a life count and the importance of being a servant leader, give up the ball + pick up the mop = tired feet ⭐️

We also got to spend some time with the Plateau Valley FFA Chapter from Colorado! We ate lunch all together in the expo hall and talked each of our FFA experiences and got to hear about agriculture from another state!
We also had a chance to chat with a past state officer from Arizona who was serving on the Nominating Committee for the National Officers and a past state officer from Colorado who was serving as the Chairmen of the Nominating Committee for the National Officers!

Day 3 National FFA Convention⭐️⭐️
We had a wonderful day spending time in the Expo Hall exploring the industry partners booths learning new skills such as vet science skills like palpating canine lymph nodes and AI cattle. We also learned more about welding and participated in a booth for MIG welding. We attended workshops and broadened our understanding of the day to day work of farmers. We attended the session and listened to a retiring address tell us not to let doubt cause you to stop moving forward and never stop building!
We ended our day with an agritourism tour at Beasleys Orchard and experienced an Indiana fall🍂

Day 2 National FFA Convention!💙💙
We had a an amazing day starting with the Kiss the Bricks tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and exploring the speedway museum! We learned how ag mechanics can connect to careers in racing industry! We also went to the Opening General Session and heard the keynote speaker talks to us about persistence, goals, beliefs, and knowing what you stand for. Amazing life changing things can come from disappointments if you keep going!
