For more than a decade, the Wichita Foundation has partnered with the Wichita Orpheum Theatre to help preserve one of Wichita’s most iconic community treasures. 🎭

From stewarding donor support to helping sustain long-term restoration efforts, this partnership reflects the power of philanthropy, collaboration and community investment.

Now, as the Orpheum undergoes one of the most significant restorations in its 103-year history, we’re proud to continue supporting the artists, learners and audiences who shape Wichita’s cultural future.

To celebrate two years of local arts storytelling, The SHOUT has opened two new exhibitions at CityArts highlighting the artists, writers, photographers and critics featured through its coverage over the past two years. ✨

What started as a vision to spotlight Wichita’s arts scene has grown into a platform supporting local journalists, creatives and community storytelling. Through Press Forward Wichita, we are proud to support The SHOUT.

After experiencing deep loss, Pam Swedlund found a way to honor her loved ones while giving back to the community that shaped her. Through consistent, monthly giving at the Wichita Foundation, she’s showing how simple acts of generosity can grow into lasting impact over time.

Her story is a reminder that giving isn’t about how much, it’s about showing up for your community again and again.
