September 2012 - Bekah was at a check up appointment with her doctor
when he found a large grapefruit sized mass in Bekah's lower abdomen. She was admitted to the hospital the next day and began testing. She underwent surgery on Sept 14th to do a biopsy on the tumor and her bone marrow with the hopes they could remove the tumor but it was unsuccessful. The tumor proved to be extremely aggressive and Bekah had to begin necessary life saving Chemotherapy on Sept 18th. Her diagnosis on Sept 26th of Stage 4 Ovarian Carcinoma was the final result and a huge slap in the face. Sadly Bekah passed on 12/12/12 at 2:12am. We continue to battle on in her memory.
