Wichita Family Crisis Center is running low on socks, underwear, and bras!

When clients and their children arrive to our shelter, many arrive with little to no belongings. We want to immediately provide them with all of their necessities right when they arrive. These items need to be brand new, meaning we don't get them donated too often!

With the rise in domestic violence here in Wichita, this is not a topic we can keep whispering about.

Silence protects abusers.
Conversation protects survivors.

At CoAct Kansas, we see the impact. We hear the stories. We stand with the survivors, the children, and the families who are navigating things most people will never fully understand.

What an incredible day for our community. 💜

Because of the generosity, love, and energy in that room, we raised $12,000 for the Wichita Family Crisis Center!!

That $12,000 means real help for survivors in our community. It helps provide safe shelter, advocacy, counseling, crisis support, and resources for individuals and families escaping domestic violence. It means someone who feels alone will have a place to turn, a safe place to sleep, and people who believe them and stand beside them.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of so many people.

A huge thank you to The Cotillion for hosting us and giving us such a beautiful space to gather for this cause.

To our drag queens, who brought the energy, the joy, and the unforgettable performances. You helped create a space where people could celebrate while supporting something deeply important.
To our volunteers, who worked behind the scenes and showed up with full hearts.
To our vendors and donors, who contributed prizes, time, and resources to help us raise funds.

And to every single person who bought a ticket, bid on a raffle item, cheered, clapped, and showed up to support survivors.
Events like this remind us what community really looks like. When people come together with compassion and purpose, we can create real impact.
